why possible radiation now in my hip, when the real pain is in my lower back?
apparently the area in my hip where the cancer is poses some danger for breakage and that is not something they want me to deal with obviously..

also i was concerned that the specialty of the radiation oncologist that i am seeing monday morning is prostate and testicular, not breast. she told me that dealing with metastatic cancer for a radiation oncology is like her filling in at the hospital dealing with depression on a patient who has prostate cancer when when she normally deals with breast. both are the basics of their medical background so i felt much more at ease..

sidenote: i was looking up some information on the doctor yesterday and came across an article on sloan’s website about a drummer who went to her for treatment..i took it as a sign..read it if you get a chance..

I didn’t mean to minimize the gravity of all you may feel about this by commenting on the stache. I know you have fears about radiation and about no radiation. I am here for you in whatever way you need… xo
